Menu reprint cost calculator
Free tool for food trucks and pop-ups · no signup
Prices go up, specials rotate, items sell out. Every change to a printed menu board or sticker costs money and time. Put in your own numbers to see what menu changes cost you in a year.
How the numbers work
Yearly cost = changes per month × 12 × (print cost + hours × your hourly rate). Use your real numbers. A truck that only changes the menu twice a year has little to save, and one that changes weekly has a lot.
Ways to cut the cost
- Print only what rarely changes. Keep the logo, truck name and core items on the permanent board, and keep prices and specials somewhere easy to edit.
- Use a chalkboard or dry-erase panel for specials. Cheap, but slow to redo and hard to read in direct sun.
- Put a QR code on the truck that opens a menu page you can edit. The sticker stays, and only the page changes. See how food truck QR menus work and what a QR menu costs.
